Blackberry Z10 Q10

Blackberry Z10 Q10

The ubuntu one android app can be sideloaded onto a Z10 and Q10 and it operates just fine. However, to make BB10 more secure apps have security settings that can be turned on or off, but none can be seen for the Ubuntu One app running on a Z10. Is it safe to assume that the app is not accessing the microphone, gps, camera, and local information stored on the Sim card?
I read that there are no plans to support Blackberry, but when existing android apps can be made to run by changing the format from apk to bar, would it really take that much effort to make a proper port? The Z10 phone does come with a Dropbox app natively (BB10) developed, but I would like to stay with Ubuntu One.
